The Stampers' Sampler Publication!

I'm absolutely thrilled to have my work published in the July/August/September 2017 issue of The Stampers' Sampler Magazine (affiliate link)! I sent in a canvas with the hopes of being showcased as part of the Frightful and Delightful Challenge and my wait is over!
Ghoulish Greetings Canvas by Dana Tatar Publication in The Stamper' Stampler

You can find my Ghoulish Greetings Canvas on the top of page 78! I used some of my favorite stamps from Paper Wings Productions, a Tando Creative Chipboard Skeleton, and a Canvas Corp Burlap Canvas for this project.

I stamped onto a piece of tissue paper with the Writing Cling Stamp using black archival ink and then sealed it onto the canvas with gel medium. I added color to the edge of the canvas with Banana, Black Cherry, Blood Orange and Iced Chai Gelatos. I stamped a pair of wings using the Butterfly Wings Cling Stamp Set. I colored the wings with Banana and Blood Orange Gelatos. I used a White Stamper's Big Brush Pen to highlight the pattern on the edge of the wings and then added a layer of gold glitter glue for a bit of sparkle. I used the A Banner Day Clear Stamp Set and the Fall Add-Ons Clear Stamp Set and to create the sentiment banner, which I then colored with an Iced Chai Gelato and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I kept the Skeleton simple, coloring him with a coat of white acrylic paint and then drawing on a stitched mouth. I finished this piece with a black rose and some hand-dyed ribbon.

If you too are strange and unusual, I highly recommend this issue! You can pick it up directly from Stampington.com or on newsstands today!
